Woke up around 10am I went straight to the window and enjoyed the view that I am in total awe of. Shaun tried to sleep as long as he could with the neighbors rooster calling Wakey! Wakey!
Haunani made us an awesome breakfast of pancakes, bacon and eggs with toast, syrup, guava jam and even scrummy coconut sauce...by the time we organized ourselves out of the house it was almost 1pm!! But hey we were taking it easy today! We went straight to the Market picked up some beach towels and t'shirts (7 for $20!)
Then off to the beach... we planned to go to one side of the island and ended up on the other side! Kailua Beach.
We got home in good timing to Skype our Babies...I just love technology, and that I can use it to talk and see my babies on the other side of the world x
| Shaun said cool you even got some random guy in the back! lol! |
The rest of the day consisted of Lanikai juice bar, Uncle ROSS (of course) and then off to the supermarket to buy stuff to make our hosts fry bread and German chocolate cake the next day.
SUNDAY: 9am church - Aunty took us to her ward and I didn't even take a pic of us. YW's took the sacrament program which was lovely and filled with lots of singing which reminded me I missed out on our HP ward youth singing this weekend...I was told you guys were lah-vley :)
Back home to a beautiful lunch again by Hunani... I made and we ate fried bread. Shaun had a nice long and well deserved nap and I caught up on the blog and went for a lovely downhill Sunday stroll with Haunani and Aunty which eventually turned into an uphill non-stroll..to work off the fried bread we ate...then I made german chocolate cake, which wasn't really the same as home because they don't have desicated coconut here so I used a shredded and sweetened coconut, so nek time we are bringing our own! :)
