Day 4; Monday - MY HOUSE!

On Sunday night I asked Haunani where do we go for the best ribs....her answer was as she stomped her foot candidly 'MY HOUSE!'  She was NOT lying! And on DAY 4: we woke up to the sweet smell of ribs slow cooking in the slow cooker.

We packed up all of our stuff shoved it in our little chevy spark which we've renamed "The All Spark" and headed off to meet the owner of our condo near Ala Moana promising the cousins 'and' our ourselves we'd be back for lunch :)

we never really had time to sit out here to enjoy the views and weather.

The Pacific Grand, quite a run down, 70's looking building but we were quite happy with the condo.  Bed, TV, ensuite, lanai (balcony) with ocean views, kitchenette and a laundry 3 doors down. We settled in, drove around Waikiki a bit to get our bearings again and then headed back to the cousins for LUNCH!  (Never should've left in the first place!! lol!)

UNFORTUNATLEY... My phone died and my photos of our rediculously awesome lunch...BBQ pork ribs, creamy mash and buttery sweet corn, with salad and purple taro bread rolls... my mouth waters thinking about it...all went down with the ship!!! More on that later :(

Left there with more photos (on my phone...grrr) and hugs and kisses and off we went to Waikiki for a bit of beach time... ahhhh Waikiki...nuff said :)

Thanks to quite a big storm in New Zealand...Surfers were enjoying
large swells at Waikiki today :)

Did someone order Macadamia & Caramacs?
Hawaiis gift to the world!

Went to Wallmart picked up about 6 boxes of chocolate covered macadamia nuts and caramacs, shoes for the boys and a few other bits and pieces...then another visit to Uncle Ross...
Early night for an early start tomorrow set our alarm on my phone and that was DAY 4!
