Day 5; Tuesday - THE MAORI IS THE FIRST ONE IN!

So...I woke up a few times early this morning to keep checking the time on my phone...for some reason it wasn't charging like it should've been. The last time I checked it around 6am it was only at 63% so something was definitely not working how it should but back to sleep again for another hour but with the sun blasting through the window I woke up with a shock to check the time again and my phone was d.e.a.d no life at all so we are now rummaging around the room looking for the time which was 7.13am...we are supposed to get ourselves to our Parasailing activity at 7.30am so from 0 - 150km/hr in 3 seconds flat...we are lucky its not very far down the road but unlucky that we didn't have GPS to get us there quickly since were using my phone.. But thank goodness one of us has a pretty good sense of direction and we arrived with time to spare!

What a lovely morning we had apart from the whole dead phone fiasco :(  We decided to go and find somewhere to try and sort this phone problem out so off to Ala Moana shopping centre...We checked out Radio Shack where a nice girl plugged the phone in to see if it would charge...nothing...told us to try AT & T for a new battery...so off we went...but on the way got slightly distracted by a little shop called 'Cinnabon...'(referral from the Purus x) and man was it good...cinnamon scrolls with frosting caramel and pecan nuts! Yumo!
So...in the end we were told what we already guessed that the phone was a goner and that we'd have to send it back to samsung to fix the motherboard or something....stink timing!

WHAT NEXT?  Off to check out Diamond Head crater...we didn't get to Diamond head the last time we were here but it was something that I was keen to do.  I even googled it from work and packed my walking shoes just for it...

Thats where we were...and now we're down again...that was awesome!

NEXT: Off to cool down at Waikiki again...this is coming on to around 6pm and its still lovely...even did a bit of sun bathing.

At Waikiki...There's Diamond Head again..we were just up there :)

Then we started to make our way to the Cheesecake factory for dinner and got distracted by a hula show on the beach, by the time we got there it was a 50 minute wait...so we headed off to good old Zippys instead.  

Back to the condo watched a bit of TV where we are certain there are more American TV shows in AUS then there is here cos there was nothing...caught half of the Mentalist, then Flip or Flop my kind of show...repeated episodes to distract me while trying to do 2 days worth of blog!! lol!! Finished..finally!! lol!!  Mahalo whanau, Pomarie x
