Unfortunatley we've had to do it again. Last week we packed up our little family and moved ourselves to Australia. its sad to have to leave New Zealand but too hard to get ahead. After 5 years getting his Degree in Landscape Architecture at Unitec and a carpentry certificate at Ucol Wairarapa 'Sh' was still unable to get the job to match. So before Christmas he came to Australia and stayed with some good friends of ours to return to the job he had before we moved home to NZ to study. He got offered permanent work almost immediately and after lots of fasting & praying we made the plan to pack up our lives in New Zealand and come back to Australia to settle our family. Not easy with 3 boys under 6 and 37 weeks pregnant but if you want to read all about it, I will strive to keep you up with the play.
My sister, who is a keen blog watcher had encouraged me to continue this blog and becasue 100's of Kiwi families are moving to Australia everyday it may prove helpful or of interest to many.... so here we go. Packing up 5 years worth of junk, to ship or not to ship to Australia, selling stuff on trademe, flights, house hunting, car rentals, car hunting etc it will all be on here! I'll try and post every week if not more, I may miss next week because I am booked in at the hospital for c-section delivery of our baby girl!!! Interesting.... absolutley!!!!

YESTERDAY was Australia day, and we packed ourselves up and went to La Perouse beach with a bunch of friends, the rain managed to stay away for most of the day and we all got a little more tanned or crispy!! Water was beautiful and our boys managed to stay in it most of the day without running out shivering with purple lips. 'Sh' went diving for some Kina, very different to NZ Kina (I dont eat either) but it was a great day with a great bunch of friends... after beach we hit Brighton le sands for ice cream at Bay Vista Gateau, check this place out, we love it! 'Sh' and I came here the night he proposed (the 2nd time!)

So far, apart from the spouts of homesickness every now and then, we are enjoying our new life in Aus. School starts on Monday and still need to enroll the boys some where...?? How to make the right choice????? Any ideas????
